The notch was made to allow the item to be used as a shave basin. With the use of a towel, the basin is held onto the neck and collects water and lather.
Wall rug (khrami) in white, a sign of the owner’s upper class standing. White woven materials are used to adorn only walls or the headboard of the bed, as a bedside rug. It consists of three sheets, each being 53cm wide. The weft is in red, yellow, green, gray and dark blue colors. In the plain, the central part of decoration, the developing numerous stylized motifs are dominated by flower pots, roses, hand with apple and chiavra, repeating throughout the surface. The plain is all-around framed by scaled chainlike edging with apple. With small tassel at the ending.
Woven khrami blanket for built-in sofa. It consists of two pieces joined together, and can thus by used as a bed cover. The plain, the central part of decoration, is crafted in dark blue warp, and features alternating rows of colorful patterns, such as a harp, roses and eagles, framing three rows of diamonds. The plain in all-around bordered by chainlike edging with repeating diamonds on blue background.
