Commemorative plate of the betrothal of King George I and duchess Olga Constantinova of Russia (1867). It was made in England, ordered by the Syros-based trading house “Kalokairinos Bros”.
The inner side is decorated with arched colonnade, with alternating impressed floral motifs below. The rim has sings of faded inscription. Believed to have been made by a workshop in Kayseri, Turkey.
